Horn Builders was started by Chuck Horn in 1999 with the philosophy of building strong client relationships by creating projects with extraordinary quality and service. When Horn Builders was formed, Chuck had already worked in the building industry for over 10 years and had graduated from the University of North Florida with a Bachelors degree in Construction Management. Drawing on experience in hands-on field techniques, commercial buildings, high-end remodeling and planned community new home construction, he decided to start a company that focused on one-of-a-kind projects that offered the opportunity for creative challenges as well as for exceeding customer expectations.

Be sure the project has appropriate moisture/air barrier to seal it from the elements.
Flash (seal) our windows and doors correctly to the structure
Use more efficient air conditioning equipment
Build using the best products available and build beyond the minimum current building code
Chuck Horn is a certified green professional from the National Association of Home Builders and is a member of the Florida Green Builder Coalition. We pride ourselves in helping our clients achieve their goals in energy efficiency, water efficiency and indoor air quality.
LEADING THE WAY IN GREEN TECHNOLOGY
Many times we have come across remodeling projects that were large and expensive endeavors because the house was not designed to accommodate change. It was that problem that inspired Chuck Horn to join an effort to create the world’s first residential moveable wall system. The moveable wall system allows clients to change the configuration of various rooms by being able to move walls to pre-designed locations as the family’s needs change.
LEED® for Homes™
A LEED-certified home is designed and constructed in accordance with the rigorous guidelines of the LEED for Homes™ green building certification program. LEED for Homes is a consensus-developed, third party-verified, voluntary rating system which promotes the design and construction of high-performance green homes. Horn Builders can assist you in creating the home of your dreams that also meets the requirements to be certified as a LEED Home.
